ProGen continues to support the education of children by establishing an Anatolian High School in 2004 in Antakya (Antioch), which is the birthplace of the company. The school, built by Hüseyin Özbuğday who set the foundations of today's seed group in the 1940's, continues its educational activities and raise successful students of Antakya under the Ministry of National Education.
ProGen continues to contribute to the university education of Hüseyin Özbuğday Anatolian High School graduates who are successful and in need of financial support by providing scholarships to a large number of students up till today.
In the same year, Özbuğday Secondary School was established by a modernization process in line with the needs of today's students.
Purpose:
The aim of the scholarship is, with a priority to Özbuğday High School and Hüseyin Özbuğday Anatolian High School graduates, to enable successful students to become beneficial to society by providing scholarship them without any compensation and examination who has succeeded in entering the state universities within the boundaries of Turkey, have a contemporary point of view, and dedicated to the principles and reforms of Atatürk but have limited financial power.
Candidate Requirements:
The priority is given to orphans, parentless students or students whose parents are seperated, victims of natural disasters and children of martyrs while providing scholarships.
Conditions:
To be a citizen of Republic of Turkey,
To be an undergraduate in the universities within the boundaries of Turkey,
Having limited opportunities to pay educational fees,
Having at least 4.0 / 5.0 diploma grade in secondary education,
To be an individual with a sense of responsibility for the purpose of contributing to our country and the world under the light of humanity's cultural accumulation.
Students whose siblings are continuing to be provided with Özbuğday Education and Success Fund Scholarship from the same family can not apply..
Scope:
The scholarship holders are determined by the Fund Management. Each year, the amount of scholarship which is determined by the Fund Management, is paid to the scholarship accounts to be opened by the students in the Ziraat Bank. For students attending the Preparatory Program during their education it will be paid as the preparatory period plus four years, and for students starting from the first year without studying in the Preparatory Program, it is paid for 4 years. For Medical Faculty students, it is paid at most for seven years as one year being the Preparatory program plus six years of study. Students who are included in the scholarship program will continue to be eligible for scholarships when they transfer to another university or made an undergraduate transfer. The student is obliged to inform the Fund Management in case of a discontinuation of education.
For the scholarship, student scores received in the entrance examination to the university, success in secondary school and throughout their universtiy education and their financial status are taken into consideration.
Students who apply for the scholarship each year submit the following documents and the scholarship application form to the Fund Management in person. An interview is made during the application. At the end of the interview, students with the necessary conditions for the scholarship are identified and the response is communicated to them via e-mail. (For this reason, all students must have e-mail accounts and should be informed that they will have a clear communication with fund management through e-mail during the period of scholarship.)
Manner of Application:
Students who apply for a scholarship are required to apply by filling out the https://form.jotform.com/202233652120944 application form between 1 - 10 September. The quota and amount of the scholarship are determined by the Board of Directors before the start of the academic year.
Every year, scholarships granted by the Fund Management only cover the school year and are they are granted for a period of nine months.
Applications made outside of the specified dates are not evaluated. The assessments are held every year from 1 - 10 September , and students who meet the conditions for scholarship are notified on October 1, and initial scholarships are deposited on October 15.
Documents to be submitted at the time of application must be submitted to Progen Tohum A.Ş. in person. Incomplete, inadequate and false documents and verbal applications are not considered.

Certificate of success score (transcript for students studying at university)
Continuity of Scholarship:
Continuity of scholarship depends on the success of the students in their courses every year (they must have passed at least with a "D" from all courses) and documentation of this to be submitted to the Fund. Transcripts must be communicated to fund management by e-mail / fax or e-mail at the latest by January 25th at the end of the first term and at the latest by September 1 at the end of the second term. Transcripts should be sent in a format signed and sealed by the registrar's office or obtained on the university's official website without any intervention. The student has the obligation to make sure that his transcripts reach the Fund Management. Transcripts not submitted within the above dates are considered invalid and the scholarship is canceled.
